Switch Your Checking Account in 5 Easy Steps
We will help you make the change now - or you can print these forms and complete them at your convenience.
1. Direct Deposit / Automated Payments
- Direct Deposit - Standard Change Request Form. Move your direct deposits to your new checking account. Most companies will allow you to use this form to make the change.
- Direct Deposit - Government Agency Change Request Form. This is the official government form that will instruct Social Security or other Federal Government Agencies to change your benefit check or direct deposit to your Bank of Stanly account.
- Automated Payments - Change Request Form. Redirect your payments to your new checking account. Most companies will allow you to use this form to make the change. Should you need help, your Bank of Stanly representative can assist you.
2. Online Banking and Bill Payment
- Online Banking and Bill Payment - Enrollment Information. To enroll in Online Banking, go to www.AnsonBankandTrust.com/OnlineBanking, click "Activate My Account," and follow the instructions for enrollment. You will need your Anson Bank & Trust checking account number and social security number.
3. Account Balance
- Account Balance - Personal Worksheet. Balance your old checking account. This Account Balance Worksheet will help you know what is available in your old checking account for deposit into your new Bank of Stanly account.
4. Account Closing
- Account Closing - Authorization Letter. Close your old checking account. You can use this letter to notify your previous financial institution that you are closing an account and having funds directed to your new Bank of Stanly account.

- Switch Assistant - All Forms. This package includes "Direct Deposit - Standard Change Request Form".
