Cabarrus Bank & Trust Dedicates Mt. Pleasant Office
Friday, June 27th, 2003 - Mt. Pleasant,
NC - Cabarrus
Bank & Trust opened its Mt. Pleasant office with
a ribbon cutting today, to be followed by a weekend of activities.

"We are excited about returning community
banking to the people of Mt. Pleasant," said Sanjay Mistry,
President of Cabarrus Bank & Trust. "This community was
high on our list of places we knew would welcome our hometown
approach to banking."
The new office is located at 1490 South
Main Street in Mt. Pleasant in the historic Ludwig House.
The circa 1840's home has undergone careful restoration and
expansion to accommodate the technologies and conveniences
necessary to operate a banking facility.
Speakers at today's event included Alex
Rankin, Chairman of the Board, Cabarrus Bank & Trust;
Sanjay Mistry, President, Cabarrus Bank & Trust; Troy
Barnhardt, Mayor of Mt. Pleasant; Dr. Reverend Mark J. Ericson,
St. John's Lutheran Church in Mt. Pleasant and L. Allen Dobson,
MD, President and CEO of Cabarrus Family Medicine.

Cabarrus Bank & Trust began its hometown
approach to community banking on Friday, April 11, 2003.
Organizers rallied community support behind the capitalization
efforts and raised the necessary capital to open the Bank
with over 800 shareholders.
By working together, we can continue to
enhance the well being of the counties we serve and make
a difference in our community.
