Bank of Stanly Launches New Product For Educators

Tuesday, October 10th 2006 - Albemarle, NC - Bank of Stanly has launched the Educator's Gift Program for Stanly County Schools teachers and staff and has already donated $3,000 to Stanly County Schools for their participation.

By taking part in the Educators's Gift, the teacher or staff member chooses the school that they would like their $1 monthly service charge donated to. Educators can access their account, transfer funds and pay bills at their convenience, 24-7, with Online Banking and Online Bill Payment. Coupled with Direct Deposit, teachers and staff can manage all their finances from the comfort of their own home. Those paid on a 10-month cycle can elect "Paycheck Stretch," which helps manage funds for the full 12 months, while earning competitive rates.

If 90 percent of teachers and staff participate in the Educator's Gift Program, Bank of Stanly will donate $15,000 to Stanly County Schools.
